Altoona, PA reflects the
strong quality image of
both Furrer Beverage
Company and Anheuser
Busch, Inc.
The total building footprint is
71,000 square feet and houses
two separate refrigerated
storage areas. One storage area
is 20,000 square feet with
temperature requirements
varying by month from 40 to
63 degrees. The other storage
area is 2,000 square feet with a
required temperature of 36
degrees year round.
The facility is constructed using
conventional spread footings,
insulated bearing pre-cast
exterior walls, structural steel
roof framing system and TPO
membrane roof over rigid
insulation. Other features of the
facility include a drive through
loading area, a 4 dock receiving
area, a 5,000 square feet storage
mezzanine and approximately
12,000 square feet of office
space.
