SGS Architects Engineers, Inc. Is the project architect for many
new Rite Aid Stores in central
Pennsylvania. The Rite Aid Corporation is a
nationwide drug store chain that has contracted with SGS for over
120 projects. SGS has site
adapted a new prototype design for many locations.
The design is a steel structure with masonry veneer. The latest
prototype "World Concept" was
developed to enhance the shopping experience
through the use of soft colors and accent
signage. An unobstructed view of the store is
maintained from all areas of the sales floor. A
drive-up pharmacy window is provided for customers'
convenience.
