The Vigilant Hose Company No. 1 and Shippensburg
Area Emergency Medical Services combined facility will include
31,000 square feet of offices, a training room, and living areas
located on two floors. The facility will contain ten fire
apparatus bays and eight EMS bays, as well as gear areas and
storage.
Shared facilities will include a 1,100 square foot
training room, fitness room, and study area. Living areas will
include separate kitchens and bunk rooms, as well as semi-private
bunkrooms for college students who volunteer while attending
nearby Shippensburg University.
